Entry Requirements

  • Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years study and a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0. Certificates and transcripts issued in a language other than English must be accompanied by an official English translation.

  • English Language Test: Non-native English speakers are asked to demonstrate English-language proficiency. If your first language is not English, but you completed an English-language high school or bachelor’s curriculum, you are exempted from submitting English test scores. We accept, among others, IELTS (min. 6.5 overall) and TOEFL (min. 79) test scores from within the last two years. Official test reports must be sent directly from the testing institution to Touro University Berlin’s Office of Admissions. Touro Berlin’s institutional TOEFL code is D631.
  • As part of your undergraduate studies, you should have successfully finished four essential prerequisite courses: Introduction to Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Statistics, and a research-related course like Experimental Psychology or Introduction to Empirical Research.
  • If you haven't completed these prerequisite courses, possess a low cumulative GPA (CGPA), or hold a bachelor's degree unrelated to psychology, you may need to undertake our Psychology MA preparatory courses before commencing your studies.
  • While there's no mandatory professional experience, we do take relevant research or professional background into account, especially for applicants without a psychology degree.
